Meet Our Founder

Ashley Willis

Born and raised on the south side of Chicago, IL.,  Ashley Simone Willis is a 32-year-old single mom of a beautiful baby girl and an entrepreneur with an explosive vision.  In elementary school, she learned etiquette and  knew  learning the model tee would launch her curiosity into becoming a model at the age of 13. In high school, she held a position on the executive board of  a female ran organization called Beautiful Goddess Couture (BGC). While on the board she held the title of Modeling Coach, assisted in  fundraising and executed an annual fashion show each year she was a member. Being a part of the organization  helped her to boost her self-esteem by motivating  others to  reach their greatest potential. During this time she also realized her true passion for being a model. After graduating, one of her students epitomized her, and the powerful impact she left on being able to love herself and have confidence in who she is. Receiving this message ignited the idea of turning BGC into an actual business.

After graduating high school she went into college with the intent of becoming an OBGYN, but after two years she changed her major to business administration. While  in college she had the opportunity to organize a team and host a fashion show honoring a young boy in the neighbor of Oak Lawn, IL suffering from Neuroblastoma (brain cancer). From the ticket sales alone they were able to bless his family with almost $1,200 to help pay for his treatments. During her sophomore year, she began her journey as an independent model in Chicago, opening and closing for designers in almost every fashion show she was chosen for. In 2016 her modeling career was postponed, as she took time to prepare herself for Motherhood. After giving birth she went back to school to finish her final two classes at her Alma Mater, Saint Xavier University, graduating with her Bachelors in Business Administration, aspiring to own multiple businesses. She placed her modeling dreams on hold for almost four years, due to other circumstances, until in October 2019, where she decided to transform BGC into a thriving business called Queenly Confidence.
